Debbe Childress, MBA, has been successfully training and consulting with professionals in the areas of sales, customer service, leadership, and team building for over 20 years. She is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer and has consulted with hundreds of businesses, including medical and dental practices across the country.
Debbe is the author of “Prescriptions for Painless Selling” and “Success through Service.” She has served on the faculty of the American Educational Institute and was a certified trainer for Skillpath Seminars. Debbe is frequently asked to speak at conferences and physician retreats. She also served as an adjunct faculty member of Winthrop University.
Debbe received her MBA from Winthrop University and holds a BS in Communications from the University of Tennessee, where she is an active member of the UT Alumni Board of Directors. She resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband, Dr. Michael Garrett.
PIERCE CHILDRESS
Vice President, Operations
Pierce Childress has developed his customer service expertise by working in the healthcare, dental, restaurant, and automotive industries. In his training programs, Pierce is able to shore up and improve an organization’s customer service foundation which in turn helps to increase its revenue.
Pierce is a certified trainer for The TEAM Behavioral Style Training Program and has conducted workshops in multiple industries nationwide. He also has developed a “mystery shopper” program and reports his findings to companies and practices to be used as a baseline for improvement after training.
With a keen mind for operations and processes, Pierce graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute in Nashville. He currently resides in Knoxville where he enjoys many sports-related hobbies.
MICHAEL GARRETT DDS MPH
Vice President, Consulting
Michael Garrett, DDS, MPH has consulted in the areas of dentistry and public health for over 30 years. Dr. Garrett has worked nationally and internationally in dentistry, and he believes “that everyone has the right to excellent dental care.”
Working in private practice, health departments, long-term care facilities, and the US Navy, Dr. Garrett offers a variety of talents ranging from solid clinical expertise to business and administrative acumen. He has managed all levels of personnel from professional to administrative and has developed and implemented programs to improve operations and processes.
Dr. Garrett received both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and his Master of Public Health from the University of Tennessee. He resides in Knoxville with his wife, Debbe, and enjoys golf and Tennessee football.
